I remember exactly where I was sitting when I hopped on a call with Whitney and Nate for the first time. There was an immediate warmth and connection, while they shared their hearts for adoption and what had led them to that phone call with me. They were excited, nervous, cautious and hopeful – all the emotions that come with that very first step of faith. The main thread that was woven into the entirety of, not only our very first meeting, but the entirety of their adoption journey was LOVE.

Their love for the Lord. Their love for each other. Their love for every single birth mama they encountered. And, ultimately, their love for their daughter – almost as if she had always been in their hearts from the very beginning.
Their adoption journey was incredible to witness and to see all of the blessings God poured out. He had a plan all along. A promise. They remained hopeful and patient as they ultimately trusted in Him.
God was faithful to His promise in their life and it was a JOY to walk alongside this sweet family. Whitney & Nate, I am thrilled that you have brought home your baby girl and I pray that the Lord would bless your family in all that you do! Congratulations!!!!

Hear their story in Whitney’s words:
Nate and I (Whitney) talked about adoption when we were dating and felt called to it early in our relationship. We felt a strong pull in January 2025 to begin the adoption process rather than waiting to have biological children. Later we would learn this was the same month our daughter was being knit together in the womb.
We had friends who had gone through infant adoption, some had beautiful experiences, while others faced significant difficulties, so we knew there was much we didn’t understand. Wanting guidance, we decided to work with Christian Adoption Consultants. We didn’t want to enter the adoption world without knowing what to look for in agencies or attorneys, or how to navigate the complex situations that can arise. Having a consultant walk with us was incredibly helpful.
We also had the opportunity to speak with three individuals through CAC who helped us understand transracial adoption from the perspectives of an adoptee, a birth mother’s experience, and another adoptee who shared their lived experience. Each conversation was deeply valuable, and we felt far more equipped to navigate the big world of domestic infant adoption.
Our home study was approved in April 2025, and five months later, we were matched with our daughter’s birth mother. Our treasured daughter arrived just a few weeks later. The journey was beautifully smooth, and we were blessed with wonderful birth parents and an exceptional attorney.
In the whirlwind of it all, Nate and I rushed to finish the nursery before welcoming our daughter into our family. We met her in the hospital and I will never forget seeing her for the first time. She was, and is, pure perfection: the sweetest, most precious baby we have ever known. We had tears of joy meeting her and holding her for the first time. We loved her from the moment we first heard about her. She is wanted, loved, and chosen, not only by Nate and me, but also by her incredible birth parents and most importantly her Heavenly Father.
